I love the story of David and Goliath. David said, “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine?” That meant, “Who does this guy think he is? He is NOT in covenant with God! He doesn’t stand a chance, because I AM in covenant with the one and only true and living God! Give me my slingshot and five stones!” (My paraphrase.) David didn’t care if the enemy was THIRTY feet tall, because, without God, he didn’t stand a CHANCE against a man was IS in covenant with God!
