JULIE CROCKER

LPC Intern, LPC, Assoc Child, Teen and Family Therapist

Over 20 years of experience working with children and families in education and ministry. My counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that when individuals feel safe and seen, they are secure enough to share the deepest and most meaningful stories in their life journey. My therapeutic goal is for every child, teen, parent, and adult I meet to know they have been seen, at the very core of their being. By core, I mean the part of us that makes us who we are in heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit.

Working through difficult issues or dealing with traumatic experiences can be complex and deeply personal. Empathy and understanding are often requirements that prepare us to process overwhelming experiences of life. I am uniquely gifted to share in this process because of my own life journey and healing through counseling.

My strengths are getting to know my clients at the heart level and building a therapeutic partnership to match their needs. I support individuals through hands-on experience-based therapies including (but not limited to) play and equine therapy- along with talk therapy- to ensure a comprehensive experience in personal discovery.
