KRISTY SALAS

Prayer Minister

My faith walk started as a young child in the Catholic Church. Long before I ever knew Jesus Christ as Savoir, I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life. I remember being moved to tears as a 3-year-old, praying next to my grandmother, for my mother’s miscarriage. The presence of God was so overwhelming, I looked for God in the flesh to walk out from the altar to meet us. It was then I knew He was real. I would later learn that God did indeed walk among us as Jesus Christ. Much wounding, trauma, rejection, and pain lead me into complete rebellion in my teens and twenties. Soon after, I heard about what it meant to have an intimate relationship with Jesus. It was a slow fade to surrender my life to Him. It wasn’t until my early thirties, a failed and abusive marriage, and nearly losing my life to a near-death experience that I finally surrendered all. I was baptized as an infant and again as a 31-year-old woman.

My husband Judd and I have a real miracle marriage of 16 years, completely restored in Christ. We have three beautiful children who are all followers of Jesus.   Ten years ago, Ron and Sherry Torbert introduced me to Elijah House and I started the journey of applying Biblical principles to heal my heart. I have never been the same! I am an Elijah House School Facilitator and have served as a prayer minister and women’s ministry leader. I am currently working full-time as a real estate agent in The Woodlands, TX.   The greatest passion of my life is to partner with the Holy Spirit and walk alongside those seeking healing and wholeness.
